New Stores Component: Custom Content Block
We recently released the new Online Stores platform, and since then we’ve been busy building out new functionality for your business. Today, we’d like to introduce a new Component that you can use in your stores: the Custom Content Block.
The Custom Content Block is designed to hold any text or HTML you need for communication or branding purposes. Using the WYSIWYG (“what you see is what you get”) editor, you can customize the content as needed:
- Text styling (bold, italics, underline, strike-through)
- Text and background colors
- Bulleted and numbers lists
- Images
- Videos
- Custom HTML
This is just one of many Components we plan to add to the Components Library. Stay tuned for more updates!

The new Online Stores platform is the future of InkSoft. The new components we’re adding are designed to help you build out new stores in a more flexible way. For now, most of the functionality we’re building is functionality that already exists in the old themes. We’re building it for the new platform to create a better foundation for InkSoft stores moving forward.
