We wanted to share an excellent example of InkSoft’s powerful API in action. Shirtmonster.com is a custom-built website that utilizes InkSoft’s API functionality. An ‘application-programming interface’ (API) allows software applications to ‘talk to each other’.
InkSoft created the API functionality to allow users to build custom websites to interact with their InkSoft stored and managed data including: product, design, clip art, user account, checkout process and Design Studio. This provides a tremendous range of flexibility and control.
InkSoft’s API is meant and provided for experienced professional web developers. While InkSoft doesn’t offer custom development support, we have created API documentation and sample code to guide a web developer. You can find a video and guide introduction to InkSoft’s API here.
Great site there Shirt Monster. This is exactly something we’re looking to accomplish with one of our sites. Currently using iFrame codes to accomplish everything but it’ll ultimately come to fruition.
