We are making tremendous progress on the InkSoft Embroidery Module. Controls are complete in the backend and we are focusing efforts on the Design Studio integration. We have some really good ideas that will help your shoppers choose between ‘printing’ and ’embroidery’. Here is a basic concept in the Design Studio (click to enlarge)
Here is what we’ve completed so far:

Do you have an estimated completion date?
We have a goal of releasing the beta by end of March. Of course with software dates are hard to live by. We are making lots of progress and it is fairly straight forward.
Is the updated quoting system going to released before March?
I agree…would love to see the new updated quoting system as well as the new updated quoting inside the designer! Along with order summary/details!
Would like to see the option of Screen Print Vs Embroidery More Visible and Prominent… also would like to see an option when the customer has chosen their product then hits customize it a pop up asking would you like to Screen Print or Embroider. If your product is selected as Screening only or Embroider Only will that force the Design Studio to the proper process?
Also The Framework part of 2.0 when is that being realeased for further customization of you web layout?
Is the updated quoting system going to released before March? Please let me know. I have a high abandonment rate because when customers are in the area where they need a price they click on the green “Add to Cart” button rather than “create quote” because it is so tiny, they get the get the wrong price because there printing is not included and so they leave.
Wow, that’s quite a big apple your team has bit into. I like the third image but as Joe suggested a pop up window should come up when the design studio is loaded asking the question ” Embroidery or Printing”?

Work in progress. We had to pin down function that would affect this. We should have a more formal / major announcement soonish.

This is a high priority new feature. We are hopeful to have something before years end. We need to deploy our HTML5 version of our Design Studio first–since it will have the necessary technology / function to support the embroidery component.

After the release of InkSoft 3.0 we intend to finish the development of this. It is a top priority.

Soon! Our embroidery and sign module is mostly about presentation. We will be sharing more insights soon.
We will be demoing our embroidery component next week to our InkSoft Advisors. More than likely we will be going through a series of rapid-updates and dialing in before we formally start development.
What’s the status on the embroidery? this seems to be lingering on under the radar.

Has the embroidery module every been delivered yet? I’m really really close to going with Inksoft, but this sounds like it’s been in the works for years with no delivery yet.
