Dropdowns for Custom Personalization Fields

This new feature adds customizable dropdowns for personalization, similar to those used for custom checkout fields. (This applies to RPC products only).

Personalization allows you to gather further information per the product. This is great for Team Names and Numbers, Embroidered Custom Names, etc. With a multiple choice dropdown, your shopper can now choose from the selection you offer instead of requiring them to fill out a text entry submission.

Some use case scenarios for multiple choice dropdowns:

Gift with Purchase – Add a free product with a purchase of another. Using Multiple Choice Dropdown, you can have the customer select the size of the ‘free’ item.
Secondary Design Selection – Let’s say you offer the same design for school team shirts, but change the name of the sport. You can use a general thumbnail design on the product and have customers select which sport (football, soccer, volleyball) they’d like to customize the design with. Using the Multiple Choice Dropdown, you can enter the list of teams that customers can select.
Teacher Name or Homeroom Number – Typically, customers would have to enter unique information such as homeroom teacher/number in a text entry field. Now, you can have them select their homeroom from a multiple choice drop down to avoid multiple spellings/formats.

Quantity Discount Filtering

The new filtering tool on the Quantity Discounts Page is a huge win for efficiency! Quantity Discounts can be tedious (having to search through the products you want to assign the discount to). We have now added a search box for stores and products to find them much easier. Also, when you select a store, only the products that are assigned to that store show in the listing.
